It is impossible to describe what someone goes through with the loss of a prenatal or newborn infant and truly everyone’s journey is unique. For those experiencing the tragic and often-times very painful loss of an infant, either pre-natal or within the first 28 days of life the answers may seem to come too slowly and the grieving must be allowed to take what it takes. In 2006 it was estimated that 19,000 babies died within the first 30 days of birth and sadly many of our volunteers have experienced this first hand. In an effort to help support and hopefully help ease the sense of emptiness and loss the grieving process so often brings on we created this page for you. We will continually be adding new resources as we come across them or are made aware of them by others and ultimately hope to have links to resources in all of the communities we currently support.
If you know of an organization or website that has helped you personally or that you may be involved with please let us know so we can add them to this resource list.

NICU Helping Hands * – Dallas Fort Worth and Nationwide
NICU Helping Hands’ Angel Gown Program began in 2013 because we recognized the overwhelming need to support families who lost a baby while in the hospital. Our Angel Gown Program provides comfort for families by providing a beautiful gown for final photos and for burial services. There is no greater gift that can be given to a grieving family than affirming the importance of the life of their child by offering this simple gift.

Located just north of Seattle Washington, USA. I have been blessed with a large network of seamstresses across the country and beyond helping to sew and distribute Angel Gowns as widely as possible. You may be directed to ship your gown out of state in order to provide a balance among the seamstresses and to provide Angel Gowns to as many communities as possible. Thank you for your support!
* note: these caring communities or programs are not directly affiliated with Angel Gowns for Dignity. We care about and gladly support their efforts!
